Harare, Zimbabwe — Delta Corporation Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive community development through a significant donation of chickens and poultry feed valued at USD10,000 to Tose Respite Centre.
The handover ceremony, held recently, marks a meaningful step in supporting sustainable nutrition and livelihood initiatives for persons with disabilities cared for by the Centre.
Tose Respite Centre, a well-regarded institution dedicated to the care and development of individuals with disabilities, will use the donation to enhance its small-scale poultry projects.
These initiatives are designed to provide both food security and income-generating opportunities for its beneficiaries.
Speaking at the event, Delta Corporation’s General Manager – Corporate Affairs, Ms. Patricia Murambinda, highlighted the company’s enduring commitment to social upliftment. “We believe in building resilient and inclusive communities. This donation supports Tose Respite’s efforts to provide both nourishment and empowerment through small-scale poultry projects,” she said.
The contribution forms part of Delta Corporation’s broader corporate social responsibility programme, which is centered on improving health, advancing education, and promoting community empowerment across Zimbabwe.
