Bernard Marriot, a founding member of Dynamos, receives a monthly salary of US$1,090, which includes a US$90 payment for his DStv subscription.
Marriot’s net monthly salary is a tax-free US$1,000, supplemented by the DStv subscription fee.
Marriot is the only founding member of Dynamos to receive a regular salary, which is paid directly from the club’s funds. This arrangement is separate from the agreement with Sakunda Holdings, which covers the salaries of the team’s players and coaching staff.
Despite Dynamos’ highest-paid player earning US$1,800 per month, concerns have arisen regarding the compensation disparity.
The other seven shareholders, each holding 7% of the shares in Dynamos (Pvt) Ltd, receive nothing, whereas Marriot holds 51% of the shares, a claim currently under dispute in court.
H-Metro sources indicate that Marriot also benefits from other revenue streams, such as commissions from Nyaradzo Group policy sales facilitated by the club’s supporter chapters.

These commissions, fluctuating based on monthly sales in both local currency and US dollars, reportedly go directly to Marriot rather than being reflected in the club’s financial records.
Dynamos have had a disappointing season, trailing Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) leaders Manica Diamonds by 10 points, with only four wins out of fourteen games, including one awarded in the boardroom.
In 2021, Marriot faced allegations of manipulating the club’s share register to secure control over Dynamos, highlighting ongoing concerns about the club’s ownership structure and governance.
