Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg to Attend Trump’s Inauguration

Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are set to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20, further showcasing the growing ties between these tech leaders and the incoming president, according to an NBC News report.

The three billionaires will join prominent figures, including Trump’s cabinet nominees, on the platform at the event. Musk, who is CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and owns X (formerly Twitter), has become one of Trump’s staunchest supporters. He has invested heavily in backing Trump’s campaign and has been appointed to lead an advisory commission on federal spending.

While Musk’s relationship with Trump is well-known, Bezos and Zuckerberg have had more distant ties to the president. However, both have made efforts to align with Trump since the election. Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, recently moved rightward politically, scrapping fact-checking on Facebook and Instagram in the US, a response to accusations of censorship. Additionally, Zuckerberg will co-host a post-inauguration reception with several influential Republican donors.

Bezos, the founder of Amazon and owner of The Washington Post, has had a more contentious relationship with Trump. Despite tensions between Bezos and Trump, particularly due to Bezos’s media ownership, the Amazon founder has also sought to improve relations, with his aerospace company Blue Origin competing for government contracts.
