Elvis Moyo, fullback for the BULAWAYO Chiefs, has signed a two-year contract with Dynamos after declining to renew his contract with the financially ailing Amakhosi Amahle.
Trust Nyambiya of TK Sports Agency, his manager, confirmed the move.
“Elvis Moyo has joined the Dynamos. We are currently assessing our choices for his twin brother Kevin, who has a variety of offers both locally and regionally,” said Nyambiya.
Elvis joined the Chiefs in 2021 and helped them win their first trophy, the Chibuku Super Cup, in 2022.
In 2019, he won five trophies with FC Platinum, including two league crowns, the Chibuku Super Cup twice, and one Castle Challenge Cup.
Elvis has also played in the prestigious Caf Champions League and the Confederations Cup.
He, together with a number of players are on their out of Chiefs who are struggling to pay salaries.
Midfielder Perfect Chikwende is linked to a move to FC Platinum. The trio of Authur Musiyiwa, Mthokozisi Msebe and Malvin Mkolo is reportedly on its way to Highlanders.
Dynamos on the other hand appear to have managed to acquire the Congolese forward Eli Ilunga. He is expected to partner with Nyasha Chintuli, who is joining DeMbare from Manica Diamonds.
Ilunga’s teammates at Black Rhinos, Gareth Madhake and Farai Banda, have snubbed DeMbare.
Madhake signed for Ngezi Platinum Stars while Banda is now a Manica Diamonds player.
