ENHLE MBALI WINS BIG! COURT RULES SHE WAS LEGALLY MARRIED TO BLACK COFFEE

ENHLE MBALI WINS BIG! COURT RULES SHE WAS LEGALLY MARRIED TO BLACK COFFEE

After seven years of drama, heartbreak, and courtroom battles, actress and businesswoman Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa has finally emerged victorious against her ex-husband, world-famous DJ Black Coffee.

The Johannesburg High Court dropped a bombshell ruling confirming that Enhle and Black Coffee’s customary marriage is valid and in community of property — meaning the two were legally married and everything they owned together must now be split equally!

To top it off, the court ordered Black Coffee to pay spousal maintenance, giving Enhle the financial relief she’s been fighting for since their messy breakup.

The judge also threw out the Antenuptial Contract Enhle signed in 2017, saying she had been misled and didn’t receive proper legal advice. In other words, the document meant to protect Black Coffee’s millions is now worthless!

ENHLE’S EMOTIONAL MESSAGE TO FANS

Shortly after her victory, Enhle took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message that left fans emotional. She wrote:

“Today with great emotion I write this. I am officially Miss Mlotshwa. I’m so grateful for this ugly journey that gave me so many lessons. Today God has laid a table for me… I am so thankful to the people you see in this image. These lawyers, advocates and senior attorneys have pushed me and reminded me of the greatness I had in me, reminded me how important it was to fight, most importantly for my children and more so for the rights of women in South Africa.”

She went on to express deep gratitude to her legal team, singling out her lawyer Jerry Nkeli, whom she called “a father since my father is no more”, saying:

“This man fought for me as if I was his blood daughter, and I will forever be grateful. I will never forget.”

Enhle also thanked her mother, Bongi Mlotshwa, who carried her emotionally through the darkest times:

“She felt every emotion I felt more intensely as I refused to sink back into depression. She held space. Thank you, Mom.” ❤️

She didn’t forget her sister @mskutty_molete, who stood by her side in court despite recovering from surgery, and her close friends who protected her privacy and prayed with her through sleepless nights.

“Nothing about my intimate life ever spilled into the media. I’m grateful to have true friends I can trust with my life. Thank you all. But most importantly, thank you God, thank you Jesus, for making me strong. Thank you to my angels and ancestors.”

“This landmark judgment protects women’s rights in customary marriages,” said her lawyer, Jerry Nkeli, celebrating the win.

The once power couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in 2011, followed by a lavish white wedding at Sun City in 2017. But their fairy-tale love story quickly turned sour, leading to a public and painful split in 2019.

Both have since moved on. Black Coffee is now dating Venezuelan model Victoria Gonzalez, while Enhle has kept her new love life under wraps, saying she prefers privacy “unless necessary.”

Overwhelmed with gratitude, Enhle took to social media, declaring:

“I’m officially Miss Mlotshwa again. I’m so grateful for this ugly journey that gave me so many lessons.”

She poured her heart out, thanking her lawyer, who “fought for her like a blood daughter,” and her mother, make-up artist Bongi Mlotshwa, who held her through the darkest times.

“She felt every emotion I felt but refused to let me sink back into depression. Thank you, Mom,” Enhle wrote.

Being married in community of property means Enhle now has legal rights to half of everything they accumulated during the marriage — from luxury homes to assets and investments.

Customary law experts praised the decision, saying it’s a major win for women whose traditional unions are often dismissed or undervalued.
