Nyanga, Zimbabwe | The Zimbabwe Institute of Strategic Thinking (ZIST) is all set to host its highly anticipated annual conference in Nyanga, with an agenda focused on national progress and sustainable development in line with Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 goals.

Established in July 2020, ZIST has quickly risen as a leading research institution dedicated to shaping Zimbabwe’s future through strategic thinking and policy advocacy.

With its unique membership structure, ZIST fosters convergence among strategic thinkers and serves as a hub for ideas, action, and advocacy. This year’s conference will emphasize the power of collaboration to drive inclusive, sustainable development, a theme ZIST has consistently championed. As CEO Dr. E.T. Muzamhindo noted, “Our focus is to foster a culture of strategic convergence, where leaders across sectors can work toward shared goals.”

In addition to leading the organization, Dr. Muzamhindo also authored the Vision 2030 Manual, a guide providing a structured approach to national planning with best practices for coordination, evaluation, and implementation. Launched in October 2024, the manual has gained traction among corporations and government entities alike, serving as a foundational tool for the nation’s roadmap to 2030.
