Social media users in Zimbabwe were horrified when pornographic images of well-known comedian Mai Tt quickly spread online.
These widely circulated photos show Mai Tt in a vulnerable position while having a video chat with an unknown individual.
She can be seen talking to someone while getting ready for the day, but their identity is obscured by the blurring of their image.
In order to protect her personal financial interests, Mai Tt deftly handled the situation while advertising a Father’s Day special for her client, Blue Lagoon.
She went live on Facebook, drawing a sizable audience who hoped she would address the spreading photos that would potentially damage her brand’s name.
Instead, she expressed her disinterest in engaging in gossip and emphasized her focus on securing the bag.
“Dzimwe nyaya dzisina musoro idzi hatina time mufunge. Life is too short to be looking for gossip. We are looking for money and ways of living handiti ka. Izvi zvemakuhwa zvakutoda vakagarika vane mari vakapedza hupenyu vakungogarira nyaya dzevanhu. Handiti ka,” she said.
Surprisingly, Mai Tt encouraged her followers to spread gossip and not shy away from discussing other people’s problems, as they were not their own.

She concluded the video by encouraging her followers to purchase something special for their fathers from Blue Lagoon and wished them a blessed Tuesday.
