To avoid paying maintenance, a TRUCK DRIVER acquired a second birth certificate for his daughter, naming his brother and second wife as the parents.
Following their divorce in 2013, Samuel Dhokotera’s ex-wife, Priscilla Mupfukudzwa (39), sought for support for their daughter, Yvonne.
Samuel (41) then obtained a second birth certificate for Yvonne (15), naming his brother Jeremiah as the father and his second wife as the mother.
He intended to mislead his employer so that no deductions would be made from his pay.
As a result, Yvonne now has two birth certificates.
One of the records states that her parents are Samuel and Priscilla, while the other states that her father is Jeremiah and her mother is Samuel’s second wife, Netsai Manzinde.
Nyanga District obtained the second birth certificate.
