ZiMetro News – The glittering image of popular socialite and video vixen, Natalie ‘Enchantress’ Mhandu, has taken a dark turn after shocking allegations emerged linking her to witchcraft rituals involving buried knives and red cloths in a Glen View graveyard.
The socialite, known for her glamorous lifestyle and large online following, now finds herself at the centre of a criminal investigation after two women, believed to be her former friends, accused her of using traditional dark arts to try and harm them.
According to police sources, Mhandu was summoned to Glen View Police Station earlier this week following the filing of a formal complaint under Section 98 of the country’s criminal code, which deals with practices associated with witchcraft.
While rumours initially circulated that she had been detained overnight, it was later confirmed that she had been released into the custody of her lawyers due to her fixed residential status. However, the matter remains active and is expected to be heard in court.
Sources close to the matter allege that the accusations stem from a bitter fallout between the three women, allegedly sparked by a love triangle involving a shared romantic interest.
The twist in the tale came when Mhandu reportedly fired her domestic worker, who then allegedly turned informant and reached out to the two former friends. The maid is said to have revealed that Natalie had visited a sangoma from Mozambique and conducted a ritual aimed at “fixing” the women—one of whom allegedly stole her boyfriend.
The most disturbing detail? The former maid allegedly led the two complainants to a site at Pension Farm in Glen View where they unearthed a red cloth and a knife, both bearing their names—typical paraphernalia associated with occult practices.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the incident is under active investigation.
“Police are investigating a case indicating witchcraft and wizard allegations involving friends. Further details will be released in due course,” said Inspector Chakanza.
Section 98 of Zimbabwe’s criminal code is clear: anyone who engages in conduct commonly associated with witchcraft with the intent to cause harm, and inspires genuine fear in the alleged target, can face a fine or imprisonment of up to five years.
A heated phone call allegedly between Mhandu and the two women leaked online shortly after the complaint was filed. In the clip, the voice believed to be Natalie denies all accusations, accusing her former maid of fabricating the story as revenge for being fired.
“I’ve never done such things,” the voice says, insisting the entire scandal is a setup designed to damage her reputation.
Once celebrated for her bold fashion, beauty ventures, and social influence under the name “Madame Stylist,” Natalie Mhandu now faces public scrutiny and legal jeopardy.
What was once a glamorous narrative of a rising influencer has now spiraled into a shocking tale of witchcraft, betrayal, and buried rituals—a plotline more suited to folklore than the world of Harare’s glitterati.
Whether these allegations hold in court remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Natalie’s star power is now shrouded in the shadows of scandal.
