Gateway Stream Media Hosts Spectacular “Redefined” Concert

HARARE, Zimbabwe – The much-anticipated “Redefined” concert at the Harare International Conference Centre last Saturday was nothing short of extraordinary.

Music lovers were treated to a night of unforgettable performances, solidifying the event’s status as a highlight of the month.

The concert featured four stellar acts — Jah Prayzah, Master H, Feli Nandi, and Winky D — who each brought their unique flair to the stage, leaving the audience thoroughly entertained.

Feli Nandi, the standout performer of the night, dazzled the crowd with her stunning stage presence and musical prowess. Appearing with a full 19-piece band, Feli demonstrated why she is a force to be reckoned with in Zimbabwe’s music scene.

Her set included fan favorites like “Mubayei,” “Mufudzi Wemombe,” and “Unotyei,” which had the audience singing along enthusiastically. Her choreography and stage interaction were flawless, and she even showcased her versatility by playing the congas with skill and grace.

Zimdancehall star Hillary “Master H” Marufu delivered an electrifying performance that kept the energy high. Known for his dynamic stage presence and confident delivery, Master H did not disappoint. His set included hit tracks such as “Nawanaden,” “Dhanzi,” and “Zviri Mumoyo,” all of which resonated well with the audience.

Jah Prayzah, who is set to celebrate his 37th birthday on July 4, once again proved why he is a favorite among Zimbabwean music fans. His energetic performance featured a mix of his popular songs, including “Goto,” “Muchinjiko,” and “Chiremerera.” The crowd’s enthusiastic response left no doubt about his enduring appeal.

Closing the night was the legendary Winky D, who brought his signature style and charisma to the stage, ensuring the concert ended on a high note.

Elsewhere in Harare, Suluman Chimbetu bid a heartfelt farewell to his fans at a packed show at Foot Nest, LongCheng Plaza, on Friday. The Dubai-bound artist treated the audience to a mix of his hits and classics from his late father, Simon Chimbetu, performing with an intensity that captivated the crowd until the early hours of Saturday morning.

At Cresta Jameson, Agga Nyabinde delivered a memorable performance, reminding fans of his deep musical roots and commitment to his craft. Despite his new role as the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe’s communications and marketing manager, Nyabinde assured fans that music remains his true passion.

“I might have a new post at NACZ, but I won’t quit music because it’s my way of life. My father taught me the trade, and I will always do my best to make him happy wherever he is,” Nyabinde said, reflecting his dedication to both his heritage and his audience.

The “Redefined” concert and other musical events across Harare have demonstrated the vibrancy and resilience of Zimbabwe’s music scene, offering fans a much-needed escape and a night to remember.
