According to the Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority (ZIMPARKS), a German visitor who vanished from view on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in Matusadonha National Park has been discovered alive and well.
A representative for ZIMPARKS, Tinashe Farawo, said in a statement:
A German traveller who vanished from view on Saturday afternoon in Matusadonha National Park has been located. He has not passed away.
We were quite concerned. We’re glad he’s doing well. He claims there was a mechanical issue with his car. We were hoping that since it is a white automobile, we would locate it.
A white automobile belonged to Andreas Hoberg, who vanished in Matusadona National Park. When he didn’t return by six o’clock at night, the GPS tracking provided by the automobile rental business was ineffective. It has weak phone network coverage, according to Farawo.
The park, which is home to deadly creatures, was searched by authorities using a helicopter, cars, and sniffer dogs.
