A harrowing tale of supernatural torment has gripped the community of Magwegwe North in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, as three children face relentless assaults and eerie disturbances believed to be the work of goblins.
Since November last year, the lives of three siblings, aged 13, 12, and eight, have been turned upside down by a series of inexplicable events. Objects vanish into thin air, chilling noises reverberate through the walls, and the children have reportedly suffered physical attacks by unseen forces.
In a desperate plea for help, a family member, who chose to remain anonymous, recounted the nightmarish ordeal.
“We don’t know what to do anymore. It started last November. One morning, our children woke up with their heads shaved. We thought it was a one-time thing. The next day, our youngest child woke up in the middle of the night, screaming. He had been stabbed in the leg with a knife! He also woke up with his head shaved again. We were all terrified and completely clueless about what was happening,” they said, their voice trembling with fear.

The supernatural harassment only escalated from there. Windows and doors began opening and closing autonomously, lights flickered incessantly, and food vanished while cooking. Efforts to seek help from various prophets and churches proved futile, exacerbating the situation.
Even after resorting to spiritual cleansing ceremonies, the haunting persisted. The family’s home mysteriously caught fire, and subsequent attempts to seek refuge in South Africa proved futile, as the eerie occurrences trailed them there within days.
“We tried to protect the children by making them sleep at a neighbor’s house, but the disturbances followed them there too. Last night (Tuesday), the neighbor’s room was trashed again, and they were soaked with water. We are at a loss,” the family member lamented.
Amidst the chaos, accusations of witchcraft have been leveled against the children’s grandmother, Mayinesi Chongwe, adding to their plight. “At 80 years old, I’ve never practiced witchcraft or used any charms. I’m a Christian. Some neighbors accuse me of witchcraft, believing I’m behind these misfortunes,” tearfully revealed Chongwe.
As tensions escalate and fear pervades the community, neighbors have reported witnessing inexplicable phenomena.
Ruramai Dliwayo, a neighbor, recounted how the children were attacked in her own home by unseen forces, leaving her terrified for their safety.
The situation has left the children traumatized, with one of the victims, a 13-year-old girl, expressing her fear of attending school due to relentless harassment.
“I’m afraid of going to school because whenever I get ready, I find my uniform torn or missing. It’s become impossible for me to attend classes because all my uniforms are damaged, and I have nothing to wear,” she said.
