A woman from Harare, Sharon Zhuwawo, has made shocking allegations that she was pressured into having 15 abortions and later suffered a miscarriage before being abandoned by her partner, Goodwill Ndarama.
She claims that Ndarama’s wife, Valentine Mahlupeko, was the one who coerced him into these decisions, insisting that Zhuwawo would never bear children as long as she was alive.
The dramatic dispute between the two women was presented in court, where they exchanged threats of violence. Zhuwawo expressed her desire for revenge, stating, “I will not rest until she dies,” due to the pain she endured from the abortions and the loss of her relationship with Ndarama, who is now involved with multiple other women.

Magistrate Sharon Mashavire warned Zhuwawo against taking matters into her own hands, emphasizing that violence would not resolve their issues. Despite this, Zhuwawo insisted she was Ndarama’s wife, claiming they had been married for six years and accusing Mahlupeko of being aware of their union.
In response, Mahlupeko described her ordeal since Ndarama ended his relationship with Zhuwawo and started seeing seven other girlfriends. She reported feeling threatened by Zhuwawo, who allegedly called her nightly with threats and accused her of causing her miscarriage.
