Strive is great guy but making the first mobile call in Nigeria is not absolutely so…mobile phone actually started in Nigeria in early 1990s but was being controlled by only Nitel..that’s Nigeria telecommunications authority and Motorola handset with an antenna was what was mainly available at that time..then when Obasanjo government got into power in 1999..that government decided to give mobile fone licenses to private companies and that was when Strive applied and he was among the first private companies that was issued with mobile phone license and he started operating around 2001..He is a great entrepreneur.
