Harare, Zimbabwe | Veteran winger Khama Billiat has signed with Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers Scottland FC on a free transfer, the club announced on Thursday via their official X account.
The 34-year-old joins the Mabvuku-based outfit after his contract with Yadah FC expired earlier this week, marking the latest chapter in an illustrious career.
Billiat’s move ensures his continued presence in Zimbabwe’s top-flight league for a second consecutive season following his return home from over a decade-long stint in South Africa, where he cemented his reputation as one of the continent’s finest players.
While at Yadah FC, Billiat proved he still had plenty to offer. He was named a 2024 Soccer Star of the Year finalist after an impressive campaign. The former Warriors international netted 13 goals, finishing second in the league’s Golden Boot race, trailing Highlanders’ Lynoth Chikuhwa by four goals.
