Millions of people have viewed the exclusive videos, and content, which H-Metro posted, about Arnold ‘Oxman’ Zikhali and jailed comedienne Felistas ‘Mai TT’ Murata, in the past week.
The videos were posted from June 14 to June 19.
Given the content was also poached significantly, and distributed by other media sites and individuals,the eyeballs on the tabloid’s platforms are a huge endorsement of the newspaper and it’s amazing reach.
For instance, the front page, which had Oxman, has been viewed by more than 649 000 on Twitter alone in the week since it was posted.
Mai TT’s video, dancing in prison, has generated more than 769 800 views on Twitter, with 770 000 impressions and 77 000 engagements.
Her videos were captured while she was dancing along with other female inmates at Chikurubi Female Prison.
The main video was posted on June 19, at 5pm, and since then it has blossomed to over 172 000 views on Facebook.
The video also has 8 400 likes and 7 400 comments, an engagement which has seen the followers rising from 278 000 to 284 000 in two days on Facebook.
Post impressions rose to 203 919 while the reach was 185 633 and engagement got to 183 165.
A few days earlier, H-Metro had run Oxman’s story which was later supported by a live streaming where he was eating a huge quantity of food.
The story attracted over 664 000 post reach on Facebook, with an engagement of 65 000, while the video rose to 213 000 with 5 000 plus likes as well as 9 200 comments.
Zikhali’s video recorded a reach of 293 000 while the views were pegged at 213 000.
Reactions, comments and shares reached 17 300.
