Harare, Zimbabwe – A 38-year-old man was reportedly abducted from his home in Glen View 7 on Saturday and subjected to a harrowing ordeal, allegedly being forced to engage in unprotected sexual intercourse with his ex-girlfriend.
The victim, Linos Gapanga, was at home when his 26-year-old ex-girlfriend, Amanda Chizanga Chakanyuka, unexpectedly arrived accompanied by five unidentified men.
According to reports, the group of men then kidnapped Linos, accusing him of having previously raped Amanda and getting her pregnant. He was allegedly bundled into a black BMW (registration ACD 9485), while Amanda and the other assailants followed in a Ford Ranger (registration ADG 3211).
Both vehicles proceeded to Machipisa Pink Lodge in the Engineering area of Highfield. Upon arrival, Amanda reportedly entered a room inside the lodge. Three of the men then allegedly assaulted Linos before forcing him into the same room. There, they ordered him to have unprotected sex with Amanda, claiming they needed to “remove some rituals.”
After the alleged sexual act, the perpetrators reportedly searched Linos, taking his wallet which contained US$142 and several bank cards, before abandoning him in the room and fleeing the scene.
Amanda Chizanga Chakanyuka has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.
