According to reports, on February 24, Mureverwi visited Gambiza Secondary School, where his ex-wife Faith Solomon resides with their two-year-old daughter, to check on the child who was unwell. He stayed overnight, but tensions arose the next morning when Solomon asked him about his departure plans, leading to a heated exchange.
Allegedly, Mureverwi then grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed Solomon four times in the back and once on her left arm. However, she managed to break free and escape, leaving Mureverwi alone in the room.
Police were alerted to the situation, but upon their arrival, they discovered Mureverwi hanging from a roof truss in Solomon’s residence. Mahoko emphasized the importance of seeking third-party assistance during disputes and urged the public to prioritize peaceful conflict resolution.
