Goromonzi, Zimbabwe — Police have launched a manhunt for six armed robbers who were caught on CCTV raiding a residence at Pircy Farm in Goromonzi, making off with US$3,000 and various valuables.
The brazen robbery, which occurred on Sunday, was recorded by surveillance cameras around the property, capturing clear images of the suspects’ faces and clothing, which have since been made public.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the launch of the search and has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying and apprehending the suspects.
According to the police, the six men, armed with machetes and pistols, gained entry to the farm by cutting through the backyard fence.

They accessed the home by entering through an open kitchen door, where they confronted and assaulted the farm owners before proceeding to ransack the property.
The robbers reportedly stole US$3,000 in cash along with clothes, two speakers, three cell phones, laptops, jewelry, groceries, and three firearms. Commissioner Nyathi noted that the firearms, consisting of two shotguns and a pellet gun, were later found discarded in the backyard of the farm.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police has released the images captured on CCTV, showing the suspects’ faces and attire,” said Commissioner Nyathi. “We are urging anyone with information related to this incident to come forward.”
