Samantha Matemachani, a Marondera resident, is being held by the police on charges of pilfering an entire herd of cattle. Samantha Matemachani is accused by the authorities of stealing eighteen livestock, which she sold for personal profit.
Inspector Simon Chazovachii, a provincial police spokesperson for Mashonaland East, confirmed Matemachani’s arrest and stressed the gravity of the issue.
According to Chazovachii, “a Marondera woman was apprehended by police in connection with stock theft.” “She is expected to appear in court soon.”
This incident highlights the region’s growing concerns about cattle security. Chazovachii went on to discuss the effects that livestock theft has on villages in different regions and urged them to strengthen their security measures for their animals.

“As the Zimbabwe Republic Police, we are making it very clear to criminals that their acts will not be accepted,” Insp. Chazovachii issued a warning, reiterating the force’s dedication to capturing criminals.
