One woman, who attended a church service seeking spiritual assistance, described her harrowing experience and eventual escape from the farm.
A woman, identified only as “Gogo,” shared her experience on the “Tete Tildah Live Show,” revealing her ordeal of seeking spiritual help during a church service. She recounted feeling terrified after being asked to surrender her garment for prayer by church officials. Seeking guidance from specific church leaders, she managed to escape from the unsettling environment.
Another pregnant woman faced threats from Madzibaba Ishmael, who insisted she was disobeying commandments by not participating in polygamous marriage. She mentioned that the woman was pregnant with twins. However, during childbirth, she encountered complications. Despite attempting to reach the hospital, she tragically passed away on the way. Gogo further detailed that upon her death, they decided to return home before reaching the clinic, and she and her second baby were buried together. No involvement of the police was reported in this incident.

Another pregnant woman faced threats from Madzibaba Ishmael, who insisted she was disobeying commandments by not participating in polygamous marriage. Tragically, the pregnant woman died during childbirth at the cult, with her baby also perishing. The circumstances surrounding her death were shrouded in secrecy, with no police involvement.
Allegations suggest that Madzibaba Ishmael exploited young girls for his own gain, enforcing underage marriages without lobola payments. Disturbingly, reports indicate a designated burial ground on the farm, where scattered bones have been observed.
One distraught mother shared her daughter’s disappearance from the area, recounting a desperate phone call for help before the line abruptly went dead.
Children were reportedly barred from attending school, while women were forbidden from working. Men were required to farm and surrender their produce to Madzibaba Ishmael for distribution among congregants.
In a turn of events, Madzibaba Ishmael and three associates were subsequently arrested, marking a development in the ongoing investigation into the activities at the Nyabira farm.
