Madzibaba Ishmael, the leader of a white garment church, has been thrust into the spotlight for his activities on a farm in Nyabira, where he claims to have established a new Canaan.

Reports have emerged of disturbing events at the farm, including allegations that Madzibaba Ishmael prevented congregants from interacting with outsiders or their own relatives. One woman, who attended a church service seeking spiritual assistance, described her harrowing experience and eventual escape from the farm.

A woman, identified only as “Gogo,” shared her experience on the “Tete Tildah Live Show,” revealing her ordeal of seeking spiritual help during a church service. She recounted feeling terrified after being asked to surrender her garment for prayer by church officials. Seeking guidance from specific church leaders, she managed to escape from the unsettling environment.

Another pregnant woman faced threats from Madzibaba Ishmael, who insisted she was disobeying commandments by not participating in polygamous marriage. She mentioned that the woman was pregnant with twins. However, during childbirth, she encountered complications. Despite attempting to reach the hospital, she tragically passed away on the way. Gogo further detailed that upon her death, they decided to return home before reaching the clinic, and she and her second baby were buried together.
