The Midlands State University (MSU)’s Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa Law School in Kwekwe is on track to open its doors in August this year, with construction progressing steadily.
With all necessary materials already on site and a workforce of over 300 engaged in the project, MSU remains confident in meeting the deadline for completion.
To accelerate progress, engineers from Masvingo Polytechnic College have been deployed to handle roofing for sections that have reached the appropriate construction phase. Their expertise is expected to further expedite the development, ensuring that the facility is ready to welcome its first cohort of students on schedule.
The MSU Law School will not only cater to legal studies but will also house faculties of agriculture, natural resources, and the built environment, including architecture.
Upon completion, the campus is projected to accommodate over 1,000 students, significantly contributing to the country’s academic landscape.
