Mighty Warriors coach ‘Shadreck Mlauzi’ cleared of all counts of s#xual assault

There were allegations against Mlauzi of indecently attacking a technical staff member who was female.

Following the team’s return from the COSAFA Women’s Championship in South Africa, the accuser reported the matter to the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

According to a complaint filed with the police, the first incident happened at the pre-tournament camp in Harare when the coach attempted to kiss her without her consent, but she resisted.

The accuser filed a complaint with the COSAFA Safeguarding Officer after the following occurrences occurred in South Africa during the tournament, which resulted in Mlauzi’s ban for the next game.

The coach was subsequently arrested om his return to Zimbabwe after the tournament before granted a bailout.

Following a marathon trial, Mlauzi has been found not guilty of an sexual offence he was facing.
