New Media Agreement Between China and Zimbabwe Aims to Boost Cultural Exchange

On September 3, Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa visited China to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and conduct a state visit. During this trip, China Media Group signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Information, the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, and The Herald.

Both President Xi Jinping and President Mnangagwa observed the signing of these agreements.

In recent years, China Media Group has engaged in constructive exchanges with these Zimbabwean institutions, leading to significant and beneficial collaborations.

To further enhance cultural exchanges and strengthen the traditional friendship between China and Zimbabwe, the two sides have agreed to work together on content sharing, joint program creation, personnel exchanges, and technical cooperation. This initiative aims to leverage media to reinforce their longstanding relationship and elevate cultural and bilateral relations to a new level.
