Politician ‘KILLER ZIVHU’ Eyes Evangelism, Enrols For Pastoral Studies

Former Chivi South lawmaker, Killer Zivhu, has expressed his readiness to part ways with his preferred beverage, Castle Lite, as part of a transformational journey aimed at pursuing his childhood aspiration of becoming a pastor.

The entrepreneur and philanthropist disclosed to H-Metro his long-standing desire to become a pastor, tracing back to before his involvement in politics.

“I never aspired to be a politician. My dream was to become a preacher because I believe I have a natural gift for it,” Zivhu stated. “However, I convinced myself and my friends that I needed to attain wealth before embarking on that path.”

“I didn’t want to be a pastor reliant on soliciting money from people, claiming divine calling,” he continued. “But, truthfully, if I were to start preaching today, I have no doubt my church would flourish within six months, surpassing many existing ones.”

Zivhu revealed that it was at the insistence of his friends that he ventured into politics, recognizing his ability to connect with people and articulate issues effectively.

“In 2000, I dipped my toes in politics and swiftly became a councillor. It’s a captivating arena, despite its challenges—factionalism, disputes, and all. Even when I was ousted from Parliament, it didn’t profoundly affect me,” he reflected.

For Zivhu, politics has been a rollercoaster of wins and losses, yet he maintains that his primary calling has always been to assist people and spread the word of God.
