Prince Dube continued his impressive goal-scoring streak with a standout performance for Young Africans (Yanga) in their 4-0 victory over Vital’O FC of Burundi in the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
Dube opened the scoring in the twelfth minute, marking his second goal in competitive play this season.
His first goal came last weekend in the Tanzanian Community Shield, and he also found the net during pre-season matches, making a strong impression since joining Yanga.
The Zimbabwean striker, who recently signed with the Tanzanian club after leaving Azam FC, has quickly settled in and showcased his scoring prowess.
Meanwhile, in China, Nyasha Mushekwi also continued his fine form by scoring his fifteenth goal of the season. Mushekwi found the back of the net in Yunnan Yukun’s 1-1 draw against Guangzhou, equalizing for his team.
This goal extends his lead at the top of the Chinese League One scoring chart, reaffirming his status as a prolific forward.
Mushekwi had not scored in his previous match, but his latest goal underscores his consistent impact throughout the season.
