The trial of businessman Ronald Nyandoro, accused of motor vehicle theft, is set to resume on May 23, with the anticipation of testimony from the second witness, Mr. Lance Malloch Brown.
During the last court session, tensions escalated as complainant John Landon abruptly left the courtroom while Kirk Woest was testifying. Woest had revealed Landon’s involvement in sending police to his residence.
In his testimony, Woest expressed his belief that Landon was targeting him through ZACC (Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission) for disclosing the truth about their business dealings. He claimed that Landon sought retribution for his transparency during the vehicle transaction.
Woest further explained to the court that ZACC confiscated two cars from him, alleging issues with their documentation. He recounted a conversation with both Nyandoro and Landon, where they reportedly agreed upon the vehicle’s sale. He added that upon purchasing the car.

In another story, The trial for businessman Ronald Nyandoro who is facing allegations of theft of trust property has been deffered to April 10 following indications that his lawyer Mr Admire Rubaya is engaged at the High Court.
The second witness was supposed to testy today.
During the last sitting Mr Rubaya told the court that the complainant James Landon tried to engage his client to negotiate for an out of court settlement.
While cross examining Landon Nyandoro’s lawyer Mr Admire Rubaya questioned Landon why he attempted to have an out of court settlement five minutes before trial commencement.
