The Rwandan government has ordered all military personnel stationed at border regions to return to the capital as part of a strategic security initiative.
Announcing the directive on behalf of President Paul Kagame, Prime Minister Dr. Édouard Ngirente emphasized that the move is aimed at safeguarding key government institutions, national leadership, and overall security.
Order for Immediate Withdrawal
Soldiers have been instructed to withdraw in an orderly manner, ensuring that all military personnel and equipment are properly accounted for. The government stated that this decision is necessary to maintain stability during a critical period.

Upon arrival in the capital, commanders will receive further directives regarding the next steps. The Prime Minister urged all military personnel to adhere to the orders with discipline and professionalism to ensure national security remains intact.
