Serial Fraudster ‘Kudakwashe Hove’ Strikes Again!

‘Slay King’ orders $364 500 food, vanishes

SOCIAL media personality and ex-convict, Kudakwashe Hove, has been arrested for another case of fraud, just a few months after he came out of prison.

He is suspected of duping a businesswoman of US$100 worth of meat last week.

Hove was jailed for consuming food worth $ 364 at a local restaurant, without paying, in January last year.

Since then, he has been facing different fresh charges of fraud.

He was arrested on Saturday after allegedly using fake proof of payment (PoP)for meat worth US$100.

He was subsequently arrested.

Kudakwashe is known on social media as @iamhove.

“He ordered the meat, we went to his house to deliver and he produced a fake proof of payment, showed me and we went away

“It was for US$100 worth of meat.

“Since then, it has been tomorrow, tomorrow, he even said he is arranging Ecocash but nothing was paid.

“I went to the police on Tuesday.

“Imagine that he came out of jail and went straight into this.

“If he hadn’t made the mistake of calling me with his direct number, I would not have found his real identity.

“He is a fraudster all the way.”

In some of the chats, obtained by H-Metro, Kudakwashe kept postponing the payment.

Here are some of the chats:

“Morning, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by my delay in payment.

“I understand the importance of honouring financial commitments and deeply regret the oversight on my part. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am unable to make the payment by the original deadline.

“However, I assure you that I will have the full amount paid by 1 pm tomorrow without fail.

“To express my regret for the inconvenience caused, I would like to offer an additional US$15 along with the repayment.

“Please consider granting me a one-day extension for the payment.”
