Just days after being requested to leave a ZANU PF Central Committee meeting due to his membership not yet being formalized, controversial businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei made a notable visit to Epworth.
During his visit, Tagwirei pledged to cultivate “five millionaires” within the high-density suburb.
Adorned in ZANU PF regalia, Tagwirei toured the area over the past weekend, making promises of solar-powered boreholes, food hampers, and educational scholarships. He was actively participating alongside the ZANU PF Harare provincial leadership, campaigning for the ongoing Epworth Ward 6 by-election.
Taurai Kundishaya, ZANU PF Epworth North’s losing candidate and deputy national youth political commissar, lauded Tagwirei’s contributions. Kundishaya stated, “For immediate assistance to Epworth North residents Cde KT Tagwirei has today donated 15 solar-powered boreholes and 3,000 family food hampers, two visits by Arundel Hospital doctors to offer free medication and two graders to rehabilitate local roads.”
