Tragic Discovery: Three Bodies Found Floating in Buhera Well
A grim discovery has shaken the community of Muchefa Village in Buhera, as the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) reports a tragic incident that occurred on February 29, 2024.
The community is reeling from the devastating news of three bodies found floating in a well last Thursday. The victims have been identified as Trainer Chibanda, aged 46, Palessa Muchefa, 11 years old, and Tirivashe Muchefa, 5 years old.
In a statement released today, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi stated, “ZRP reports a sad incident which occurred in Muchefa Village, Buhera on 29/02/24 in which Trainer Chibanda (46), Palessa Muchefa (11) and Tirivashe Muchefa (5) were found dead and floating in a well. The cause of death is yet to be established. Investigations are in progress.”
The circumstances surrounding the deaths remain unclear, prompting ongoing investigations by authorities to determine the cause of this tragic loss of lives.
