Two More Top Managers Suspended In ZBC Sexgate!

According to ZiMetro News, Chekayi, who was recently named substantive News and Current Affairs director, was suspended on Thursday morning via documents handed to his home.

The sexual harassment controversy that has rocked the state-owned ZBC has resulted in the suspension of News and Current Affairs Director Albert Chekayi and News Bulletins Manager Effort Magoso.

Magoso was suspended before the Main News bulletin on Wednesday night.

Magoso is accused of “grabbing” a female coworker’s “bums” a few years back.

Chekayi has been accused of harassing a female coworker.

Although the charges against the senior executives have yet to be proven, the scandal has tarnished ZBC’s reputation.

This comes after the director of radio services, Robson Mhandu, and the PowerFM station manager were fired.

This Monday, ZBC CEO Adelaide Chikunguru declined to comment on the alleged sexual harassment instances.
