Machope, who scored a spectacular goal and assisted in another against Yadah FC, is only one goal behind the current leading scorer. In the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier League right now, he is currently the best number nine.
In an interview with Showbiz, Machope expressed confidence in Simba Bhora’s chances of winning either the Chibuku Super Cup or the PSL title this season. He also believes he will be crowned the top scorer.

Machope finished just five goals shy of the leading scorer in the previous season despite scoring seven goals in seven games. He is keen to score more goals this season, and his presence on the field makes him a strong contender for Zimbabwe’s national team’s number nine position
