In a separate incident, Milan Marangwanda, a 19-year-old security guard, has been brought before the court on charges of attempted murder. Marangwanda allegedly shot a co-passenger in a truck they were traveling in, mistaking the incident for an accidental discharge.
According to court records, on March 4, Marangwanda and the complainant were seated together in a truck when Marangwanda was handed a .22 Pietro Beretta pistol. In an unfortunate turn of events, Marangwanda inadvertently triggered the firearm, resulting in a single gunshot wound to the complainant’s left leg, just above the knee.
