Harare, Zimbabwe – Zimbabwe clinched a victory in the first T20 International by a margin of 13 runs, marking a triumphant start to the series.

The match, held at Harare Sports Club, saw Zimbabwe deliver a solid performance both with the bat and ball. Zimbabwe set a competitive target after electing to bat first.

The victory was met with jubilation from the Zimbabwean team and their supporters, with celebrations both on and off the field. Captain Raza Sikandar praised the team’s all-around performance and highlighted the importance of starting the series on a winning note.

“We played really well as a unit. Everyone contributed, and it was a true team effort. We’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into the next matches,” said the captain in the post-match presentation.
