Zimbabwean teenager Thierry Katsukunya has secured a regular spot in the Aston Villa U21 team, a feeder to the senior squad.
The 18-year-old defender is set to make his fourth consecutive appearance for the team today as Villa U21 takes on Swansea U21 in the EPL Cup.

Starting in the match, as he did in his previous three appearances, Katsukunya is expected to play the full ninety minutes.
Playing as a centre-back, Katsukunya joined the Birmingham-based club in 2021 after transferring from Coventry City. He inked his inaugural professional contract the following year.
Born in the UK to a Zimbabwean father and a Welsh mother, Katsukunya has previously represented Wales at the U17 level but remains eligible to play for Zimbabwe due to his father’s heritage.
