Mkandla’s security guard allegedly stole items worth more than $60,000 from her Domboshava home on many occasions by using duplicate keys. According to reports, Justice Jasi broke into Mkandla’s home in January 2015 and took extra keys for her office, bedroom, and main door. From 2015 to 2016, he reportedly broke into the home while she was gone on business. It is said that Mkandla installed closed-circuit television (CCTV) in the home after realising she was losing her belongings every time she went out.

Jasi allegedly disassembled the CCTV and took the hard drive when he realised it was there, so that Mkandla wouldn’t find anything when she played the film.
