Pupils who planned to travel to their boarding schools in Manicaland and Masvingo provinces from today to Sunday in preparation for the start of school next week will have to wait a little longer due to a heavy rain and flood alert issued by the Department of Civil Protection and the Meteorological Services Department.

Schools will reopen on Monday of next week, with most boarding school students anticipated to go to their stations on Sunday, as is customary.
