The Chevrons of Zimbabwe came from behind to win an ODI series again the Netherlands 2-1.
The Netherlands chose to bat and set a target of 231. Their struggling batting lineup was slowed down by the brilliant bowling of Zimbabwe with Williams claiming three wickets and Sikander Raza claiming his 2. Ngarava and Madhevere also added to this total.
The opening batting of Craig Ervine and Madhevere made history with a total of 88 with bonuses of extras and wides.
Williams who have been brilliance in his last game despite him missing many games since November did brilliantly well with Gary Balance to to give Zimbabwe the much deserved win.
Despite Zimbabwe winning this series it does not give them direct qualification into the world cup as they sit on the 11nth position.
Zimbabwe intends to qualify through the upcoming qualifiers at the mid of this year.
