Harare – Enterprise Car Sales director Madzibaba Tendai Chipaga has trashed rumours that his company wanted to repossess the car that the late businessman Wicknel Chivayo gifted veteran musician Taruvinga Manjokota, popularly known as Sugar Sugar, of the Mudododo hit song. This follows claims by the goat beaderd musician that he received a call from an anonymous caller summoning him to return that car since his benefactor had not fulfilled payment obligations.

Chipaga however told Express Mail Zim that it was false information orchestrated by a chancer.

”That is false information my brother, there is nothing like that happening and we suspect its a bogus individual who was trying to take chances,” said Chipaga.

The shocking claim had divided opinion but the sober opinion had opined that there was no legal basis to repossess a car where the deceased entered an agreement of sale with Chipaga and gifted a person of his choice.

”We have reached hard times and people are desperate. I hear they wanted a meeting with Sugar Sugar in Ruwa,” said a fan.

”But my worry is why did they target Sugar Sugar out of all the beneficiaries. It was an insult to his intelligence vakamuita bhambi nyanzvi yedu,” said a fan who identified himself as Brian Rori.
