In a commendable effort to improve living conditions at Chikurubi Maximum Prison, musician Jah Prayzah has taken a significant step by overseeing the installation of a borehole. The main goal is to address the persistent water scarcity affecting both inmates and officers within the Chikurubi prison complex.
Demonstrating a sincere commitment to the well-being of those within Chikurubi Maximum Prison, Jah Prayzah presented the borehole to the Deputy Commissioner General (DCG), representing Commissioner General ZPCS.
The musician highlighted that this initiative is part of a broader collaboration with the Zimbabwe Prison and Correctional Services. He mentioned various projects undertaken to underscore the consequences of crime and promote rehabilitation.

Notably, the ‘Mhosva’ project, hosted by Dual Sim Zim, represents a significant step in fostering hope and humanity within the prison walls.
Special recognition was extended to Tatenda Samaz Samukange and the Skylake Borehole Drilling Zim team. The borehole now stands as a symbol of their collective effort to make a lasting impact on the lives of those within the prison community.
In addition to his philanthropic endeavors, Jah Prayzah operates a media company that is producing a television series titled ‘Mhosva.’ This series aims to facilitate reconciliation between offenders and the offended, while also preparing for the seamless reintegration of offenders into society upon completing their sentences.
While Jah Prayzah recently made headlines for receiving a new car as a gift from businessman Wicknell Chivhayo, a token of appreciation for his support for the ruling party, he continues to demonstrate his philanthropic side by giving back to society after achieving success in his career.
