Celebrations abound as popular comedian Freddy Manjalima, better known as Kapfupi, took a significant step forward in his personal life by marrying his longtime partner, Precious Kabrito, known affectionately as Mai Nga.
The couple, who have stood by each other through thick and thin and are parents to five children, exchanged vows in a stunning white wedding ceremony over the past weekend.
Though the specifics of the event are still emerging, glimpses of Kapfupi and Mai Nga’s special day have delighted fans, with photos from the occasion circulating on social media. Messages of congratulations have poured in from well-wishers, marking the joyous occasion.
Efforts to reach Kapfupi for comment on his nuptials with Mai Nga were unsuccessful at the time of reporting. Nonetheless, the captivating images from their wedding speak volumes about the love and happiness shared on their memorable day.
While Kapfupi’s professional success as a comedian and musician has earned him praise, his personal life has seen its share of challenges.
In 2015, the entertainer was embroiled in a custody dispute with his ex-wife, Margaret Gejo, over their children.
Reports from Gejo’s family indicated that Kapfupi had allegedly taken custody of their children without her consent, sparking a contentious legal battle between the former partners.

Their relationship, which began when Gejo was a teenage student, eventually led to marriage and the birth of three children.
However, the union ended, with Kapfupi choosing to be with Mai Nga.
In 2014, Kapfupi and Mai Nga welcomed their fifth child, Freddy Junior, into the world. However, news surfaced in 2016 of Kapfupi’s extramarital affair, resulting in the birth of a daughter with Patience Chimbare.
Chimbare accused Kapfupi of neglecting their child’s needs, including obtaining a birth certificate.
While Kapfupi acknowledged paternity, he expressed frustration at Chimbare for airing their private matters in public.
