Maverick City Music Coming to Zimbabwe

American gospel sensation, Maverick City, is set to grace Zimbabwean shores with their Kingdom Tour this August, promising an unforgettable experience for gospel music lovers.

The tour, which kicked off in the United States and features gospel powerhouse Kirk Franklin, will showcase Maverick City’s acclaimed performances at the prestigious Glamis Arena in Harare on August 12th, 2024.

Maverick City, a five-time Grammy award-winning group, is renowned for soul-stirring gospel pieces such as ‘Jireh’ and ‘Promises,’ captivating audiences with their uplifting melodies and powerful messages.

Joining them on stage is Kirk Franklin, a revered gospel singer with nearly 20 Grammy awards to his name. Franklin’s chart-topping hits like ‘My Life Is In Your Hands’ and ‘I Smile’ have made him a household name in the gospel music scene.

The Kingdom Tour is a testament to the global appeal of gospel music, with the journey spanning across continents. Starting in South Africa on August 8th, the tour will then visit Lusaka in Zambia, Malawi, and finally Zimbabwe. Following Zimbabwe, the tour continues to Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and concludes in the United Kingdom, promising a soulful experience for audiences.
