After being hit with a brick by another woman who accused her of dating her husband, an Epworth lady is fighting for her life in the hospital.
They share a rental unit.
When Tamari Tendai Nzveka came in court Wednesday to answer a charge of attempted murder, she was not required to enter a plea.
She was held in detention until April 12 while her bail was being considered.
The complainant was allegedly chastised by Nzveka on April 3 at their shared home in Epworth for donning trousers in front of her spouse.
She also charged her of having a sexual relationship with her husband.
Nzveka is accused of picking up a brick and striking the complainant in the head, causing her to pass out.
The complainant was ferried to hospital where she is currently admitted.
The State opposed bail for Nzveka arguing that it wasn’t in the interests of justice as both parties resided at the same house.
Lancelot Mutsokoti appeared for the State.
