Prominent rapper and businessman Mudiwa Hood has confirmed that he has withdrawn charges against fellow rapper Holy 10 and podcaster Olla 7, a former Star FM presenter.
The withdrawal of the charges comes after a week of tension following an interview in which Holy 10 made disparaging remarks about several celebrities, including Mudiwa Hood and Mama Vee, without giving them a chance to respond.
Mudiwa Hood had initially filed a lawsuit against the two, accusing them of cyberbullying after the controversial interview, where Holy 10 expressed his frustrations and criticized various personalities in the entertainment industry. The remarks caused an uproar, with many, including Mudiwa Hood, feeling the need to respond to the accusations publicly.
In a twist to the drama, DJ Ollah 7, who was also implicated in the issue, turned himself in to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) and spent the weekend in jail. The charges stemmed from his involvement in the interview and the public fallout that followed.
However, in a sudden development on Monday morning, Mudiwa Hood confirmed that he had decided to withdraw the charges against both Holy 10 and DJ Ollah 7. When asked for confirmation, Mudiwa simply stated, “Yes, I have withdrawn the charges.”
The decision to withdraw the charges has left many fans and industry insiders questioning the reasons behind the sudden change of heart. While Mudiwa Hood has not elaborated on the reasons for his withdrawal, it seems that the matter has been resolved, at least for now, between the parties involved.
This latest twist in the ongoing saga highlights the complex nature of celebrity feuds and the power of social media in shaping public opinion.
