Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water
  • 8 Carrots, peeled
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™
  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped Parsley
  • ½ tsp Sesame seeds

Method

  1. Boil the Carrots
    • Pour 2 cups of water into a pot and bring to a boil.
    • Slice the peeled carrots into desired sizes and add them to the boiling water.
    • Boil for 5-10 minutes, or until the carrots are tender but not overly soft.
    • Drain the water and set the carrots aside.
  2. Prepare the Glaze
    • In a separate saucepan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
    • Add garlic, chilli flakes, and Seven Colours Grill Seasoning™ to the pan, stirring for about 30 seconds to release the aroma.
    • Stir in the soy sauce and honey, letting the mixture simmer briefly.
  3. Glaze the Carrots
    • Add the boiled carrots to the saucepan. Toss the carrots in the sauce to coat them evenly.
    • Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken and cling to the carrots.
  4. Garnish and Serve
    • Remove the glazed carrots from the heat.
    • Sprinkle with chopped parsley and sesame seeds before serving for an extra burst of flavor and a touch of elegance.
