Troublesome Bouncers Sanyangore and Kumunda Caged In Remand Prison

Two bouncers who reportedly assaulted guests at Harare’s Pabloz Bar on Christmas Eve were denied bail today.

Mr Stanford Mambanje, a regional magistrate in Harare, denied bail to Blessing Kumunda (36) and Gideon Sanyangore (32).

Mr Mambanje stated that there is strong evidence tying them to the crime, which may compel them to run.

They face attempted murder charges.

Kumunda and Sanyangore are scheduled to appear in court again on January 30.

Mr George Manokore, representing the State, had argued that giving the couple bail would be dangerous to society.
