A woman whose ex-husband accused her of hastily marrying another man while their marriage was still valid shared her side of the story with H-Metro.
She explained that they had actually divorced four times before she finally ended things for good, largely due to his serial infidelity, claiming he had over a hundred girlfriends.
Margaret Shamiso Mandishona, 30, refuted her former husband Kelvin Wazeza’s accusation that she left him to marry another man while still legally married.
Their nine-year relationship ended when Margaret began a new relationship with a man in the UK. Previously, the couple had been living together in South Africa.
Margaret disclosed that Kelvin had a history of cheating, sharing videos and screenshots as proof of his encounters with other women.
“If I listed all of his girlfriends, I’d easily count over a hundred. He would get involved with almost every woman who came for nail services, including some of my own friends,” she claimed.
“It was as if he was possessed; he would leave the house for these affairs. It was beyond typical behavior.”
Margaret added that she’s now happily in a relationship with a man named Shumba. “Shumba has brought love into my life. I had reached a point where I thought I’d never feel love again, but meeting him changed everything.
Kelvin is only bitter now because I’ve found happiness elsewhere.”
She went on to describe how Kelvin never supported their child and that she often took care of his child from a previous marriage. “He didn’t care for me anymore, and his lifestyle didn’t change despite our repeated separations. He only became upset when he saw photos from my traditional marriage ceremony,” she said.
Margaret also shared that she was the one who often paid for Kelvin’s living expenses, including rent, clothing, and even a car. “For nine years, I financially supported him.
Now, it’s been almost a year since we separated,” she said, emphasizing that she tried several times to make their marriage work, returning to him multiple times before finally moving on.
Margaret’s friend, Maria, confirmed these claims, saying that Margaret had often spoken about Kelvin’s infidelity. “At one point, she found 13 girlfriends listed in his phone.
She loved him deeply and tried to make it work, but he continually betrayed her trust. In the end, she decided she couldn’t continue.”
