Harare | Social media erupted after a photo of President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s daughters-in-law at his birthday dinner at the White House.
Zimbabweans made fun of the prominent socialite Pokello Nare for missing the event despite widespread rumors that she is dating one of Mnangagwa’s sons.
Mnangagwa’s family hosted a dinner party at State House in Harare on Friday to honor his 81st birthday.
A photo of the first family varoora caught the attention of the country as Nick Mangwana was carrying out his responsibilities and publishing images to update the public on the events of the birthday supper.
People started making fun of Pokello, the queen of swag, over her absence after seeing the picture (below) of the first family’s elegantly attired daughters-in-law.
One user made the juicy claim that she was turned away because the first lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa, disapproves of the widely rumored relationship with her son.
Many other Twitter users were curious as to why Pokello, who had been spotted with one of the First family sons at a nearby bar, was not present among Mnangagwa’s daughters-in-law.
Pokello, a socialite and businesswoman from Zimbabwe who has previously represented her nation in Big Brother Africa, is said to be in love with Emmerson Junior.
