The Eskbank and Skyline tollgates on the Harare-Masvingo highway will have temporary lane closures, according to a statement from the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA). This closure will be in place from May 3 to May 20, 2024, in order to allow contracted businesses to complete scheduled road construction at the two locations.
ZINARA said:
“From May 3, 2024, to May 20, 2024, there will be a temporary lane closure at the Eskbank and Skyline Tollgates. We would like to inform our esteemed clients of this.” The closure is intended to allow Exodus and Company and Tensor Systems, respectively, to carry out scheduled road construction at the two locations.

We have closed the northbound lanes at Eskbank and the two southbound lanes at Skyline Tollgates.
Even though we have taken all the required precautions to reduce interruption, we do expect occasional delays, particularly during busy times. We really apologise any inconvenience that may have been caused.
ZINARA set aside ZWL$14 billion for the nation’s six tollgate upgrades last year. The following tollgates are scheduled for upgrading: Dema (Chitungwiza-Wedza highway), Esigodini (Bulawayo-Beitbridge road), Mupfurudzi (Bindura-Mt Darwin route), Flamingo (in Gweru), Skyline (along the Harare-Masvingo road), and Lion’s Den (near Chinhoyi).
